That's a Real Smile or Fake?

If someone is smiling, it means they are happy, right? Well, not always!

As human being, we put smile in our faces isn’t only for saying “We are Happy”. Somehow, there’s other reason that can’t be said, then we need to smile which make us “appear” happy. Sometimes, people smile just because they want to be polite and don’t want to explain anything- whether or not. Isn’t it kinda “fake”? Should we being a nice pretender?

Smile can cover everything! It can cover our sad, tears, cry, bored, fear, hide genuine feeling and many more. I’m bad, I’m sad, I’m confuse, I’m glad... Those feelings can be covered by smile and let others to guess what kind of smile we did, it is real or fake. When I write the word “fake” I try to make sure that I won’t write a fake writing here, I mean I will try to reveal my opinion about them. Then, How could we know it is real or fake? Several experiences will do! We can determine whether there’s a hidden reason or not inside someone’s smiling.

A fake smile can be found in the way someone express it, believe it or not. When we talk with that person and he suddenly smile after our statement, we should pay attention on the “statement” that we delivered before. He may confirm our statement, try to make acceptances turn, or even an agreement with that statement by smiling, and he will continue the turn directly by saying his argue related with the previous statement from you. In other way, he usually give an explanation about your statement first and continue with his argument then as the reason why he is smiling. There’s should be a connection with your conversation, I mean he may not makes an ambiguity with his own argument. Okay, it can be said a real smile hahaha. Wait a minute, What if his argument isn’t has a corellation or you detect an ambiguities? Or How to differ then? Hey, you should bother your surrounding circumstances, I mean someone will do an error if there is a distraction eventhough little bit trouble sound, annoying voice, or you deliver your statement in the wrong way. If it is happens, he doesn’t need a long time to repair it and keep look at you while make correction, even he sometimes laugh then. What you have to do here is look toward him carefully, concern on his eyes and his behaved when he talk to you! A real smile always followed by an attention. He will never take no care on his conversation.

Now, how about the fake one? It is the opposite! If someone smile after your statement and he doesn’t give any reason why he is smiling then he turn his eyeball across you, Oh C’mon it must be a prentending smile. A fake smile appears because that person doesn’t want to explain more about the matter and choose to ending the conversation. He may want to hide unhappy feeling inside of his smiling. Mmm, for the good pretender, it will be more difficult. A good pretender who often put a fake smile sometimes can hide it, he may smile but still look at you and doesn’t turn his eyeball. Don’t worry, a good pretender will give you a strange way for it. A strange way? Yes! He will express his smile in the strange way, unordinary behavior or you will find other character who isn’t actually him. His face getting odd, screwy, he speaks weirdly. As my previous explanation, “concern on his eyes!” will help you to distinguish whether it is real or fake. The way when someone express his smile will be different in every feeling and those pairs of eyes never show the “fake” no matter how hard we hide it. Or even a best pretender who put fake smile still can not cover well his feeling because there’s must be “an odd thing” on his face. You wanna try? Try being “fake” and I will get you!!! Hahahahaha :D

Note: A fake smile isn’t only lie to the others but also lie to yourself and it’s more injuring than the pretending!
